The historic town of Los Olivos is where you will find the streets of downtown lined with wine tasting rooms, great restaurants, and retail stores. Incredibly vibrant on the weekends, it's most recognizable feature it the flagpole in the heart of town. The historic Mattei's Tavern is getting a grand reconstruction, and will soon be re-opening as an Auberge Resort. Although small, the neighborhoods of Los Olivos offer a cozy community feel - with many of the cottages closer to town acting as vacation rentals. Los Olivos Elementary situated downtown, and The Family School located in a more rural setting off Figueroa Canyon, both exceed academic excellence, and are highly sought after by local families.
